Currently, Glo does not offer built-in subtitles or closed captioning. However, we are committed to making Glo accessible to communities worldwide and aim to include these important features in future updates, with support for multiple languages.
How to enable Live Caption on Android:
- Play a class of your choice.
- Press the Volume button on your device.
- Under the volume controls, tap Live Caption to turn it on or off .

When Live Caption is turned on, captions will appear automatically for speech in any media playing on your device.
Live Captions (Beta) on iOS
On iOS devices running iOS 16 or later, you can use Live Captions (Beta) to generate real-time captions for any audio playing on your device. This feature may not work seamlessly with all media apps, but it’s a helpful alternative until built-in subtitles are available on Glo.
How to enable Live Captions (Beta) on iOS
- Go to Settings.
- Tap "Accessibility."
- Tap "Live Captions (Beta)".
- Turn on "Live Captions."
- Customize caption size, style, and other preferences from the menu.
Please note that Live Captions (Beta) is still in development and may have limitations. If you're using an older iOS version or encounter issues, we recommend reaching out to Apple Support for further guidance.
